While OLD CARS WEEKLY is not always on top of every auction in America,
they do a very good job on keeping track of and reporting upon the "big
ones".
On the 19th of April, 1998, in Vancouver, BC., a 1966 Morgan Plus 4 in
level 2 condition was sold for $16,863 American. The event was called
the "auto Classic Auction".
OCW did miss a November, 1998, auction here in the midwest where about a
1964 Drophead Coupe in what sounds like to be about level 5 condition
was sold for an unstated amount. A member of the Minnesota Morgan Club
was the purchaser and will, presumably, be the restorer.
