Hi Joe,

Getting back to the question of importing a Morgan to the US
specifically from Canada, please remember that the Canadian equivalent
DOT rules on bumpers and impact requirements are identical to that of
the United States so that is NOT a factor. In fact, just as with the US
Agents, from the 70's Canadian Morgans are fitted with car plaques
having the Canadian Agent as the Can. Gov licensed manufacturer. That
raises wonderful possibilities with taxes and duties on a Canadian
Morgan for a US buyer.

Emission requirements are another area, but even if necessary...the car
can be imported on the spot with an agreement to have mods and testing
done later.

That leaves you with no duty and no more than the standard sales taxes
you would pay anyway.
