Better suggestion yet: Meet at the usual place and time, go to Penngrove via
the backroads and attend the Penngrove Power & Implement Museum / Tech High
School Robotics open house fund raiser. IF you have never been to this place,
it's a must see for any gearhead. Old engines big and small, barn that's a
running museum of engines and equipment. They only do this thing every other
year, and I've been there twice before. It's a ten dollar donation per person,
$25 per family. It runs ten a.m. to four p.m. It's a real down home family
affair, and the museum is a true labor of love. Oh yeah, they fire up most of
the big ones. They have this one huge inline job that runs soooo slow you
won't believe it. Used to power a sawmill up north. Kid size steam train
running the perimeter of the property. Some years a guy shows up in a Stanley
Steamer touring car and gives rides.
Petaluma Hill Road south till you come to the corner in Penngrove where the
fire station is located. Then you make the left at the light and go up the
hill almost immediately. 200 Phillips Dr. Penngrove CA.
   I'm going. Anyone else??
