I've got a desire to keep the area under my deck dry.
The deck is about 40' long and 8' deep. It's mostly about
9' above the ground -- plenty of room to add some
waterproof material under it to keep the area below dry.

I'd set it up with a slope to drain into a gutter that
would run full length. I plan to make the panels easily
removable so I can periodically clean off the pine needles
that drop between the deck boards.

I'm looking at various corrigated roofing panels and
like one in particular called Ondura. It is a rather
heavy duty material that appears quite durable.
Its length of 79" works well for me and its 4' wide.
Cost is moderate at about $14/sheet (I think).

I worry about mildew/mold buildup under the decking
since this will block much of the airflow. (I'm in
the northwest - lots of rain/dampness)

Does anyone have any experience doing such a thing?

Thanks,
John Miller
