If they treat it as well as we are in the Twin Cities, it might not be too
bad.  There is surely room for improvement, but the Mississippi in the Twin
Cities is cleaner than it has been for generations.  The fish are back, and
the eagles are back to eat the fish.

The pollution shame we have is the Minnesota River.  Source is partly
inadequate treatment in small towns, but the big problem is runoff of
chemicals used on farms.
