okay, i missed most of this thread, including the original question, but
having just
read a couple of the horrosr stories about stuff that didn't work I must give
a glowing recommendation for what i used:

UCoatIt see www.ucoatit.com

Its a water based 3-part epoxy, i put on 2 coats of light grey, topped by 1
coat
of their u-gloss clear. Did this about 4 months after the floor was poured -
it
was not power troweled. i did power wash and acid etch the floor, but since
it
was new i didn't have to worry about cleaning up oil or grease.
Floor in use for over a year now - results incredible - dragged edge of base
plates for 2 post lift across floor, left NO mark whatever. Jack stands leave
no marks, have dropped boards with protruding screw points from 2nd floor,
no marks. Have dropped other heavy objects i won't admit to from heights i
shouldn't have carried them to - no marks. So far every chemical and fluif
spilled has wiped up without a trace. Greasy footprints
left by thundering herd of maniacs known as TriumphClub of the Carolinas
cleaned right up.
To see pictures of this floor, go to www.triumphclub.org
click on "pictures" then click on "tech sessions"
The stuff was pretty darn expensive, but i have no regrets, considering
how well its held up.

Cheers
Jack Mc
