Ouch.

A few things I forgot to mention:

My neighbor is a professional tree trimmer/feller.  He uses Stihls.
We have a good Stihl dealer nearby, and that's worth something.

Besides the quality, the thing I like about the Stihls is that
they have safety features that work and don't get in the operators way
(like the cheezy anti-kickback hand guards on some saws that must
be removed to allow anything other than straight up fire log sawing).

I've tried most of the saw chain sharpening tools and I prefer
to do it by hand with a round file.  Once you understand the principle
its not hard.

I'm pretty good at felling trees and have a very strong do-it-myself
streak but for something really tricky or dangerous I hire my neighbor.
