Also in southern CA for several years now, possibly only after Sears bought
them.

I'd rate them no more than mediocre ... but they do carry just a few items
that Home Despot doesn't, like "piano" (spring) wire. They also had the
non-abrasive version of Bon Ami when no one else did.
