Seconded. I have a much smaller garage, but since I switched to T8s
lighting is never an issue. The old T12 units would not work much below
freezing, and I had to replace them often, even with just 5 fixtures/10
bulbs. I've never, to my recollection, replaced a T8 bulb. They just
work great.
