Sounds like time to go to the next level, a Keensert or equivalent.

If you do go with a Helicoil again, I would cut off the insert and leave no
threads in the enlarged portion of the hole.  They aren't going to be doing
anything anyway.  And if you can, convert to a stud in that location (so it
can be screwed in to exactly the bottom of the hole).
