I know this will be sacrilegious to write on the Shop Talk mail list but consider simply paying a yard service to mow the lawn. I say this for two reasons: 1) I hate mowing the lawn (I'd prefer to harvest it once a year but my wife disagrees so I let her mow it...) and B) the cost to pay a yard service is likely less than the monthly payments on a new mower.
