The previous owner of my house just stuck foam board insulation between
the door sections. I think he had some sort of tape holding them in when
we bought the house. The tape is gone, but the foam is still there. It
moves a little, and I'm not sure how much it's doing, but I've never
removed it because I figure it has to be better than nothing.
