Hi All,

I know I'm asking for it with this response, but, here goes:  Once upon a time
I vaselined my '64 Mini 850(a wonderful car with  completely faded red paint).
 The paint looked like new for about two weeks then went to crap again.  I 
didn't
try to wax over it and as I recall (we're taling +20 years ago here) the car
became a horrible dust magnet and cats thought it was pretty interesting to
sniff.
