Well, I have reconsidered using "Schlep" as a donor for "Speedbuggy". I
am going to sell the car instead and concentrate on finding a 1971-1973
GT6 (Tub-Swap for the 1979 Spit).
The car can be seen on the Rogues List (it looks blue but is really
green, honest).
Here is the specs....
1974 Triumph Spitfire 1500.
Everything is there. Needs carb (ZS) rebuilt to run. Has a decent soft
top, good carpet and good dashcover. There is some rust on the passenger
side rocker and passenger side floorpan, also some here and there rust
on the body. Can be restored or used for parts. PO claims motor rebuilt
about 2 years ago and ran strong until last summer when carb started
spitting gas.
