Wow! I just paid $1199 for a 1975 & sunk 1400 more into new rocker
panels etc. If the market value is that good I might be able to only
lose a couple thousand by the time it's fixed up & I'm ready to sell or
trade... life is good -- meanwhile it's the most fun to drive of any
car I ever had. (But I'm looking at a 1969 with those little bitty
rear lights & chrome fins)
