Hi all
Having just done the PI system on a 1972 2500 saloon which had been standing
for 9yrs I can honestly say it will be a pain but once you have it right boy
oh boy your going to have some fun, it's fun pulling a ton around with house
brick aerodynamics, in a little spit it should be wow! If you go the PI
route the calibration for the 150 should be somewhere near right (good start
point) you will need the "Lucas sevice training centre, petrol injection
MKII" manual if you are going to start playing with settings. This manual
was available last year from the 2000 2500 Register. I also got a lot of
advice from Prestige Developments and Injection when I was doing mine as I
have a high compression ratio due to skimming (head and block) and reboring
which throws out the vacuum. As it's going to be non standard fit the Bosch
fuel pump for reliability.
If you would like the full story off list I will send it to you. I took
several weeks to get the setup working with several threats of twin SU'S
which were sitting in easy reach, I persevered as this one is the only Lucas
PI on the Isle of wight known to still have its PI setup.
Do it again? YEAH you bet!

Graham.

from you guys whove "been there, done that!"? Thanks for the benefit of your
experience. <
