Help!
When I bought the '77 Spitfire I told my wife , hey I 'll fix it up for you.
She reminds me that I always bitch about her shifting ability; '66 Mustang 4
speed close ratio top loader, '67 MGB 4 speed , 60 something Datsun 2000
roadster 5 speed, '85 Fiero GT 4 speed. I say, no problem I'll put a automatic
in it.
After I cannabalize the '77 to get the '73 running, it will need a tranny.
I was thinking Pinto motor and A/T.
Has anyone put an automatic in their Spifire, for any reason.
I get home from work, the other day, and Terry says, I was out looking at the
cars and I'm getting the short end of the stick. My Spitfire is all beat up
and your Spitfire isn't and your Fiero looks fine.
I laughed , like she was joking , and went to my computer room.
I think she will get more viscious when my Spitfire is running.
