I am entering negotiations to purchase a car in Florida.
One of my concerns is in getting the car shipped to
Michigan. I know that some of you have done this before,
so I thought that I would see if there were any recommendations
for shipping companies.
The other alternative is to fly down to FL, rent a truck and
dolly and tow the car back. The drawback is that I would
have to take a couple of days off work. The good part is that
I can look the car over closely myself before buying it.
I guess that I could also have a bunch of friends across the
route transfer it for me. One picks it up in FL, tows it to
GA where someone else would be waiting. He tows it to Tenn.,
and transfers it... I then collect it from someone in Ohio. ;)
Just for the record, the car is not a Triumph but is a LBC,
a Mini based Wolsley Hornet.
