When I installed a DGV on my 1500 back in '86, I just routed the crankcase
vent from the valve cover to the charcoal canister and left it at that. Had
to replace the canister a few years later, but who cares? I thought trying
to route that vent to the bottom plate of the air filter was silly. I also
wasn't too concerned (and still am not) about emissions since the car only
gets driven 3-5K a year. Never could figure out why they're so darn
concerned about out little hobby cars when there are so many other truly
"gross" (in *every* sense of the word) polluters out there. I know, I know
- money. Ok, rant off.
