Hi all
Got the 71 Stag inspected today and drove it all day long 8^}
Have Gremlins though
1. Brand new Overdrive switch does not work.
2. Odometer Broke, must be that doohickie thing that drives the gear,
probably fell off
3. Squeak from behind my left ear, very annoying. probably the Boot
cover.
4. Speedo way off, Probably due to the fact I replaced the manual tranny
with an OD tranny
ON Number 4
I remember on my Spitfire that the Speedo is different when using an OD
tranny vs regular tranny. I believe this is because of the Angle Drive. My
Speedo on the front of the dial face reads
SN8201/04 1000
Can anyone verify their number on the speedo with OD and those of you with out
OD.
Looks like I need to get a Speedo anyway, want to get the correct one.
Does anyone have a chart that matches RPM to road speed for a Stag?
