While we are on the subject, I asked http://www.britishcarsonly.com/ for a
quote on 3/8" chrome lug nuts for my Spitfire, and they came back with an
asking price of $70 US for a set of sixteen! I found them for .75 cents a
piece plus shipping the next place I tried.

Listers, in trying to get a good firm clutch adjustment I thought after 8
years it is about time for a rebuild, upon a recommendation from a neighbor
I called White Post, they want 183.00 to resleeve a T/R 3 M/C, this includes
a brass sleeve, and installing 2 new rubber plungers and using all of my old
parts, you must ship it to them exactly as it comes off the car, they also
give you a lifetime guarantee, but I have no idea what the fine print says
either. A brand new M/C from BPNW is 66.00, a rebuild kit (2 rubber bushing
& 1 spring) is 8.00, Apple Hydra. is 55.00 for a brass resleeve, now if you
want to ever talk about a expensive vendor look no further than "White
Post", add this to the list of whom to shop and whom not to.
