well, I learned something new, not that that's too hard for me to do.
John, I assume by "dip the other way" it's something other than just
adjusting the aligning screws. Amazing, I would have thought a 7 inch
headlight was a 7 inch headlight. They certainly are on my car, and I
could fathom no difference between the left and the right.

They sound great, unfortunately with a RHD car headlights have to dip the
other way and I don't know if they are made. All the sports cars that are
reexported back to Europe from the US have to have the headlights changed
as cars cannot pass the test unless they have bulb type lights fitted.

Sealed beam 'plug in' halogen lights ARE available in the US. That's
what I have on my Spit. No modifications at all.

(or bulbs in certain countries). US and UK cars have sealed beams as
standard (which have the advantage of being sealed therefore the

much for the standard wiring or switches). As far as I know sealed beam

US. They would be great as the light output wouldn't diminish with age.
