A bit of trivia about propshafts with the fat "soup can" CV joint:
In the factory, the shaft was installed with the joint forwards. But
it can sort of jam in the tunnel, and make it hard to slide out
the shaft from the rear. Triumph issues a service bulletin
saying to simply re-install the shaft the other way around,
with the joint in the rear.
