Greetings, Fellow Listers!

First the questions: I have a door shell off a '72 GT6 - will the guts from
my '74 Spit door just bolt in? Next, I'm getting cracks where the rear
wings meet the rockers. No door sag yet that I can see. I realize it's
hard to say without looking, but is this an immediate crisis? I don't want
to have my tub sag (no comments, please!)

Now for a bit of success. The rear suspension of the Spit is back together,
at least temporarily. I put in new diff mounts, a new spring, and prop
shaft u-joints so far. The diff also got a shiny new drain plug. The
spring made a HUGE difference! The wheels actually look straight, and bumps
aren't nearly as painful in the rear. I have a spare pair of axle assembles
that are getting u-joints, bearings, wheel cylinders, & whatever else I find
needs replacing. Various parts are getting powder coated. A new seal has
cured the boot lid rattle. Progress!

Lastly, a tidbit that most of you probably already know, but was an epiphany
to me: I discovered an old (large) oil filter wrench is the perfect size to
remove the brake master cylinder cap in my '74 Spit. Eureka! Hey,
sometimes it doesn't take much to humor me, OK?

Thanks to all for your wisdom, knowledge, and willingness to share.
