Not rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol. Denatured alcohol. Available in gallon tins
at Home Depot and elsewhere. I'd also suggest using it before you put in the
new seals, not after.

couple of big bottles of rubbing alcohol through the system just to be
sure.
I used the bleed screws and my Mighty Vac.

Well I have finally decided to go for the Silicon Brake
Fluid
and accompanying bits and pieces, namely the brake cylinder kits and m/c
kits
for both brake and clutch. The pipes on the car are completely dry so they
should not need cleaning out, the whole brake system has been cleaned. Oh
yes I
have ordered some steel flexi hose too, a complete set of four.
Is there anything else that I have forgotten?
