A guy I know from a Ferrari list has a neighbor with a mid-60's ('65, '68??)
Spitfire 4 that the neighbor apparently has to unload fairly urgently. The
car is located in CA, San Fran bay area I believe. It also has had a 1500
engine w/ OD trans installed prior to being parked 20 years ago. The
Ferrari lister described it as "remarkable complete and original", engine
not withstanding. No idea of condition, but after being parked for 20
years.....
Don't know if this car will become available or not, but if anyone has any
interest and is able to move quickly to rescue it should it become
available, please contact me off-list. I'd hate to see a good Spit go to
waste, or worse.
