yes it will. I ruined mine trying to take it off to strip and refinish the
frame and the donor was too dried up to remove and cracked/split.

If I had to replace that stuff, I would use thin, stretchable vinyl fabric
material and glue it in place.
But you would definitely have to remove the windshield, dash, etc.

If you tried to remove the stuff from a donor car, I bet it would crack.
