I have two Spit parts cars that I'll be cannibalizing
for my Burlington Arrow project:
1) A '71-72 (not sure) with good 1296 engine - someone
here wants to buy the trans (w/OD and gearknob OD
switch) and driveshaft from me.
2) A '78-79 (can't remember which) with a few parts
missing from the engine - it has a standard good
4-speed and driveshaft for that trans.
QUESTION: Will the newer non-OD trans and driveshaft
bolt up and work with the early engine?
