Not long ago, there was quite a discussion about someone reproducing
factory parts manuals on CD-ROM. One of the difficulties pointed out
was the problem of copyright infringement, and Rover's stern view of
ANYONE using something to which they held ownership. Some folks didn't
seem to believe that copyright was a very big problem. But the following
note appeared in the November 1997 "Practical Classics":

                           Rover trademark
                         Clampdown continues

Morrispares South East is the latest company
to be threatened with legal actiin by Rover Group
for unauthorized use of a trade name.
From October 13 1997, the Epping based Minor
specialist will become known as Moriespares, while
the address and phone number (01992 524249)
stay the same. Said proprietor Bob Bayles: "it
seems unnecessary, because we don't use Morris
separately in the business name or Morris logos."

Even Rover clubs have had to ante up to use the Rover name in their club
name.

What is wrong with this picture?
