Keeping in mind that the advice below puts the oil into the OUTPUT of the
oil pump, if your're still having trouble getting pressure up then try a few
more tricks...

Prime as below - put some oil into the output of the oil pump, then turn the
engine over manually backwards - pumps the oil backwards into the pump.

Tape up or otherwise plug the vents, and pressurize the crankcase with an
airhose from your compressor.  Tends to force the oil up the oil-feed tube.

when assembling the engine, put STP into the oilpump.
