I was couching this weekend and caught sight of a MKI Sprite on
the Wonder Years on Nick. I didn't see the entire ep just the end. Kevin
Arnold had purchased a used Sprite and was on a date in the car. Date
ended and he went to start it and it wouldn't start. Girlfriend
suggested it was the alternator. Next scene, Sprite
on the hook being towed back to dealer (hurt to watch). Car looked to be
in good shape.
Anyone else seen this ep?
In the Sunday (Jan. 4) edition of the Chicago Tribune, Transportation
section, there is an article on how 15-30 year old roadsters are in vogue
thanks to the current crop of high dollar 2 seaters (SLK, Z3, Boxster).
They review various makes and give a few highlights/lowlights of each
model. Off the top of my head some featured models are Alfa Spider,
various TR's, Spitfire, midget, MGB (non-rubber and rubber), and the
dreaded Fiat. Article of interest but not a particularly interesting
article, nice pix though.
