Having a couple scraps of 1/8" Masonite (TM) left over from covering my
workbench, I did an experiment to see if I could bend it without it
breaking. After scoring a few times with a boxcutter knife, it was easy
to bend to the angle necessary for the rear cockpit panel. It did not
break, although the surface layer of the non-scored side did wrinkle
slightly along the bend.
When covered by the vinyl upholstery, neither the backside score or the
frontside wrinkle would show.
