Thanks to all who emailed and called to "set me straight"
I'll keep some (not all) of my LBCs for a bit longer.
I wouldn't look good in a BMW anyway, I'm always greasy and grease and leather
don't mix.
Well for the first time in 26 years a Sprite had to be flatbeded home. It was
stuck in first gear.
This was PIECES, my wifes Sprite which I just finished installing a rebuilt
transmission in.
I rebuilt it and obviously did something wrong. It worked around town all
weekend but when she went 40 miles away, it decides to break.
The car came off the flat bed and I had the engine out (this time in 30 minutes)
I put a different trans in it and with the help of my brother, now have the
different trans and engine bolted in.
The carbs and radiator are still off, tomorrow is another day. My brother said
"it's still warm"
refering to the engine when we were putting it back in the car. I did drive it
in first around the block to see if I could undo the stuck gear, I did get it
out of first but decided to change trannys anyway.
Once again, thanks for all the moral support.
If not for this list I would have gone bonkers! (I did)
