I am trying to bet my Sprite MK II ready to go the the Sprite Rush
next month. It is still in piences but progress is being made. The
speedometer didn't work so I sent it (actually 2 of them) to Palo Alto
Speedometer to be repaired. Since I had changed the rear end rario
form a 4.22 to a 3.77 it needed to be calibrated. Granted, the person
to whom I spoke couldn't get through to me, but he insisted that
there is NO way to do that unless you push the car 59.5 feet with
odometer working (which it didn't). Also, they don't keep records of
calibrations, so they had no idea of how to set one with a standard
set up. I am NOT skilled in these matters, but it seems to me that if
you know the diameter of the wheel and ratio of the rear end, it could
be accomplished. Am I way off base in having bad feelings about them
or didn't I explain myself well or what? By the way, if you are going
to Sprite Rush, mine will be the black one with a hole in the dash.
