Insurance is always a tricky business. I have always maintained that there is
in every claim office at least one person whose sole job is to say "NO" The
majority of people trust their agents wholeheartedly. Always read you policy
carefully and make the agent
write all verbal assurances into the policy. If the "NO" person is 10%
succesful in fending off claims then he has earned his pay. With harrassment
he soon becomes the "LESS"
person. This is their job and they do nothing else but try to minimize claims.
Against the normal person who must juggle fighting with the Insurance Co.
about obscure wording or flat out lies with normal daily activity it is not
much of a match. The main problem that has arisen is the fact that the profits
are obcene. If we specialty car owners pitch a fit they just drop you
coverage. There are plenty of other people with "normal" cars with money. Both
my father and brother are insurance men. I have had insurance pumped into me
all my life. I can trust my brother to get me the proper insurance for my
Bugeye. Please be careful and READ your policy. Any compitant agent will be
happy to clear up anything you may not be sure of. Advice...Take 2 hours of
your life and talk to your agent. If agent is anything less than totally
upfront and clear..start shopping!
Do not buy into the Bull#&%# Good agents and proper policys exist.
