I also have thought about fitting a Spitfire type latch but It's now too
late for this car. The car goes to the painter this weekend so no more
tinkering with the bonnet. I used the rubber type latches mounted on the
side because the glass wings need to be held in. If you do try to fit
Spitfire type latches, record the details for the list.
