Anyone want to buy this 'Original Sprite and Midget' book before I find out
more? (kidding) So far it looks like the well worn red trim around my
doors is wrong (I just spent money to get replacement), the steering wheel
is wrong, the logo on the new Sprite badge that I got for the bonnet is the
wrong colour (gold instead of silver), the dash is wrong (the fake
woodgrain), the ground cable from the battery, the inside door lock on the
driver's door is wrong (shouldn't be there) ... The black dampers are
there, though.
Does anyone have a pattern/measurements for the trunk bags and leather
straps? (Hood, tonneau bars, etc )
... and can someone please answer a stupid question for a 'positive earth'
challenged being? Does positive earth require a special battery? My
Sprite came with a marine battery installed which is too big for the
battery bracket and tray (you may have noticed, if you checked the web
site). I have a dead old car (broken frame, low mileage, many new parts)
with a good battery in it that would 'fit'. Does it work in the Sprite?
I broke a flippin' bolt today that connects the heater cable to the
flapper? lever. (I knew it turned too easily! #;^(> ) Anyone know where I
can get one of these things? (and what it's called?)
