Bob,
I think all a-arms have the reinforcements, where you drill the holes, 
the arms are made up of two layers of metal.

If you go with stock sway bar, the stock attachment method will probably
hold up.  For anything bigger and very hard driving, I would reinforce the
mounting by removing the thin sheetmetal in that area and replacing with
something thicker.
