Hi,

I finally got the engine back in. This was an 'engine only' removal and
the mating part of the reinstall was a breeze (beginners luck?). The
hardest parts were the lining up of the engine mounts and of the rad bolts.
... and the lower starter bolt.

So that's what a clutch is supposed to act like? I stalled it once because
I wasn't used to it. (That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.) I don't
have the 'bonnet' on it yet, but I did drive it around a bit.

I've a question: The generator adjustment ... Under the generator there
is a piece of metal that acts as a connection between the bottom bolt on
the generator and the block(?). There are 2 holes in this piece of metal.
One is a circular bolt hole and the other is an elongated bolt hole to
allow for adjustment. Mine was installed with the elongated hole at the
block end. This seems backwards to me! Is it?
