I wasn't going to answer you because I noticed that you have called
this list "midgets" in your address book.  But then I noticed that I
called it "sprites" in mine... :)

The fact that your readings didn't increase to triple digits after you
added oil suggests to me that you have more problems than just rings.  But
my opinion is base solely on theory.
The fact that all readings increased wet could just be due to the oil
reducing the chamber volume thus raising compression for your reading.
