Hi Andy,

I've done this job and it wasn't as bad as they led you to believe.
Mine came off no problems. I was warned about removing the windshield
from the frame that it might break. I had a new gasket so I didn't care
it I ruined the gasket/beading. I took a stiff putty knife and ran it
around the beading. This sliced through the old rubber pretty well and
it didn't hurt the glass. My rubber was real hard so it sliced good.
The glass fell in my waiting arms after that.

Putting it together using small tweeker screw drivers worked the best
for me. I was able to place the beading around the frame and gentley
move the glass into the slot. I did this on the carpet in my house so
it wouldn't fall and break while I was messing with it. Liquid soap
works well to lubricate the rubber before hand. Then it is a snap to
reinstall. Don't forget the bottom seal.

Rick
