Hello all.
After reading the thread about valve cover colors (blue being spitfire not
midget) I decided to actually look at the engine number. FM...(spitfire) Well,
at least my two spare blocks are FP.(midget) Now, what exactly ARE the
differences? Moss' catalog says fuel pump and distributor. I have an electric
pump, so that isnt too big a concern, but what differences are there
distributor wise? Is it electrics, advances, or the actual distributor
housing, mounting, what? (a bit paranoid now)
The distributor that is in the motor now is an original 75 electronic unit.
