snippet of a bread crust!  Never could teach it to fetch, though. 
Another cat we had when it heard me or my ex drive up would scratch at
the door to be let out so it could run up to us and greet us.  Would talk
all the way to the door while trotting ahead and looking up at us.  It
also would go on the morning walk my ex took.  Miss that cat, too
