Philip,
The paint job is the one thing where nobody can just give you a figure.
They run from $150 to $10,000.
The reason is that you pay the body man by the hour and he will work on
the car until it is ready for shooting the paint, i.e. straighten the body
and prepare the surface.  Your 1) and 2) aren't really clear.  Stripping
the car usually means taking all the trim etc off (or the paint), while
prep work is what I mentioned before (this is the expensive part).
