Hey George,

I think I that I was mentioned in your post script.  I enjoy both worlds
when it comes to tyre technology.  The Bugeye is running on those wonderful
Dunlop 5.20 x 13 Gold Seal bias plies and the MKIV is hugging the corners
with 175 x 70 R13's.  Yea, you can fit those tyres in a square body rear
wheel well.  You just need to make sure that your rear springs are up to
snuff.  If the tail's draggin' you'll be rubbing (I Found that out the hard
way).  The 175's make a very noticeable improvement in ride quality.  The
handling of the MKIV improved significantly when I made the move up from
the old Michelin XZX 145's.  

Without question, the bias plies are the most fun to drive on.  My Bugeye
has very limited power because of it's stock tune, so anything that can add
excitement to a 30 MPH corner is O.K. with me!
