Personal experience - I won't order VB rubber again. For instance: when I
had my Spitf***, I bought 2 rubber steering rack boots from British Parts NW.
While installing them, my famous part eating Labrador took a chunk out of
one of them. I got a replacement from VB (at 50% more than the price of
BPNW; I ordered from VB because the guy next to me at work placed a big "next
day mail" order for his MGB and I piggybacked). I got the VB part, and the
two were installed during the same week. The VB piece dried and cracked
within 6 months, the BPNW piece looked like new. So I ordered a new boot
(and a tie rod end because its boot ripped on its way off the suspension).
Sometimes low bidder is better!

I believe Frank has some views on Moss....
