The engine normally performs very well, and it is used all year round. The
engine looses around 0.7 litre of oil per 500 km. It is filled with
Duckhams 20/50. The oil was changed less that 500 km ago.

The residue smells like oil with some petrol, and it sticky (slippery) like
oil. It seems to have been sprayed all over the spacers and the inside of
the airfilters.
