OR....   Set up some sort of forced air system to the foot wells with the
opening in front of the engine.  

I guess that's a waste in a convertable.....  JMO

Dave,

Heaters were optional on Bugeyes (along with a number of other items) so 
removing it is will not cause any problems.  You will want to cover the foot

well vent hole that is under the heater.  If this is not done you will pull 
air from the engine compartment into the foot wells.
