You have a new cam right?

So, 1/2 hours at 2-3000 rpm in neutral (i.e. no load) to bed in
the cam/lifters.

Then drive it keeping it under 3500 or so with a mixture of load
/no load. Do this for a few hours then change oil and 
filter.

You can keep revs to 5000 for 500 miles if you like.

If you plan to run synthetic oil, dont do so until the next
oil change (say 500 miles)
