I can agree with that if the conversion is reversible and the original
engine is kept in the garage somewhere.... :)
Someday, who knows, maybe the XJS will be deserving. At the rate they hit
the car crusher it's possible.

If I owned a 67 XKE, I wouldn't convert it either! What I'm talking
about
is the run of the mill XJS that needs an engine. A proper rebuild on a Jag
engine should only be done on the cars that deserve it, like a 67 XKE. IMHO
